BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – January 6th 2018 – Award winning songstress Melba Moore is set to headline the 2018 edition of Naniki Music Festival which takes place on January 20th and 21st, 2018.
The event, now in its fifth year premiered in Barbados in 2013 and expanded through the Caribbean with dynamic jazz events featuring exciting local, regional and international musical talent.
You can expect no different this year, as the Naniki Amphitheatre comes alive on Saturday, with Canada based jazz pianist Eddie Bullen, who will open the festival joined by special guest Marissa Lindsay.
Internationally renowned Melba Moore is headlining and will share the stage with the likes of Barbados’ very own Splash Band.
The two shows will be a sure treat for jazz lovers as on Sunday, Mylon Clarke, Andre Forde’s Jazz Ensemble and Cuban, Canadian, UK sensation ‘Three Horn Madness’ serenade the crowd.
There will also be a bit of Soca to sweeten the pot as patrons will get to see another side of local entertainer Lil Rick, who will be joined by Black Banana singing hit after hit after hit, like you’ve never heard them before at the lush Suriname, St. Joseph venue.
Hope to see you there !
